Arriving in Shannon Airport - Public transport coaches leave approx. every hour for Killarney. There is one change of coach at Limerick. Journey time is approx. 3 hours. Driving from Shannon International Airport to the INEC

On leaving Shannon Airport, follow signs for Limerick, N18 or N19.

When you meet a junction with the N18, turn right onto the N18, signposted Limerick.

At the junction with the N19 signposted for Limerick, past Bunratty Castle, go forward.

You will then follow the Ring Road around Limerick City to the N20 to Cork that joins the N21 following signs for Killarney.

You will pass through Patrickswell and then meet a junction with the N21, keep right onto the N21 and stay on it as you pass through Adare, Rathkeale and Newcastle West.

Then follow signs for Tralee and the N21 on through Abbeyfeale and into Castleisland.

When you arrive into Castleisland, you meet a junction, turn right onto the Main Street. 

Then bear left onto the N23, follow signs for Killarney travelling along the N23 to Farranfore leading directly to Killarney.

After passing Farranfore Airport on the N22, you will then meet a junction, turn left for Killarney and Cork.

As you come into Killarney, follow all the signs for N71 for Kenmare in order to bypass the town of Killarney. 

Following the N71, the INEC is approximately at 1.5 km from the town centre on the left-hand side beside The Gleneagle Hotel.


Cork International Airport ORK

Approximate driving time to the conference venue, the INEC:  1 hour 30 mins (54 miles/87 km)

Arriving in Cork Airport  - Cork airport has direct daily flights from London, Paris, Manchester, Paris and Brussels and connecting flights from many other European cities including Malaga, Frankfurt and Milan.  Look on: www.corkairport.com

Driving from Cork International Airport to the INEC

As you leave Cork Airport, follow signs for Cork and N27, after approximately 2 miles you will meet a roundabout, stay forward.

Take the next exit signposted for Killarney, N22. Follow signs for N22 along the Ring Road around Cork City. 

Turn left onto the N22, then you will meet a junction with the R608, at this roundabout, take the 2nd exit, signposted Killarney.

Drive straight on the N22 through Ballincollig, Ovens, Lissardagh, Macroom, Ballymakeery & Ballyvourney and finally Killarney.

As you come into Killarney, follow all the signs for N71 for Kenmare in order to bypass the town of Killarney. 

Following the N71, the INEC is approximately at 1.5 km from the town centre on the left-hand side beside The Gleneagle Hotel.


Kerry Airport 

Driving time to the conference venue, the INEC, approximately 20 mins (11 miles/19 km).

Driving from Kerry Airport to the INEC

As you leave Kerry Airport, turn left onto the N22, after approximately 2 miles you will meet a junction, turn left for Killarney and Cork.

As you come into Killarney, follow all the signs for the N71 for Kenmare in order to bypass the town of Killarney. 

Following the N71, the INEC is approx. 1.5 km from the town centre on the left-hand side beside The Gleneagle Hotel.


 Dublin Airport DUB

Approximate driving time to the conference venue, INEC, 4/5 hours (189 miles/305km)

By train:  Fom Heuston Station, Dublin, to Killarney.
Transfer from the airport is by taxi (approx fare is 20 Euro) or public transport.

Driving from Dublin Airport to the INEC

As you leave Dublin Airport, follow signs for Way Out, as you meet junctions, take signs for N1 or M1.

Once on the M1, stay on motorway until you see signs for Exit 9 to the M50 and follow signs for Cork or The South.

Take the exit off the motorway for Cork (50 miles approx. from the Airport).

At Mitchelstown take the N73 to Mallow and then the N72 through Rathmore. 

At the junction with the N22, turn right and, continuing on the N22, follow the signs to Killarney.

As you come into Killarney, follow all the signs for the N71 for Kenmare in order to bypass the town of Killarney. 

Following the N71, the INEC is approx. 1.5 km from the town centre on the left-hand side beside The Gleneagle Hotel.
